Acclaimed Elvis Tribute Artist Joins The Raleigh Symphony
Orchestra in "Blue Christmas"
RALEIGH, NC. The supreme Elvis illusionist, Keith Henderson,
joins the Raleigh symphony in an unforgettable holiday performance
trip back to the glory days of the King on Sunday,
Dec 7, 2008. This special holiday event will be
held at Meymandhi Concert Hall in
the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts beginning at
7:00 PM.
Join us for an evening of warm holiday classic works and a
special symphonic rendition of Blue Christmas, and other classic
Elvis holiday tunes! Move over Bing, Christmas is going blue this
year!
Keith Henderson brings a history of experience to the concert
stage. In 2002 he won the $50,000 grand prize in the "Tribute to
the King" contest in Biloxi, Mississippi, beating out countless
competitors from across the World. He also won the 1998, 1999, and
2000 "Images of Elvis" competitions in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Along the way, he's had the privilege of performing with Elvis’
original back up singers the legendary Jordanaires and
members of the Stamps Quartet.
